Should I get tested for Lupus? - lupus like picture
Hello, I'm 16 years old. I suffer from the bumps and redness on the face (in particular), the cheeks, and was something that I could not remove. I thought it was just acne. My mother, however, was studying to be a nurse in the manual and came across a picture of the butterfly rash often associated with systemic lupus erythematosus (such as lupus / SLE known). I do not think much of it until my mother and I researched the symptoms.
What are the symptoms that I experience now:
* Skin rash?
* Extreme fatigue
* Depression
* Pain in the joints (especially knees and ankles)
* Type of migraine almost every day during the month
* Difficulty concentrating
* Psychosis
* Inflammation of the posts last year I was diagnosed Gastreoenteritis.
* Also started about a week and a half behind my back (around the kidney area) hurt
* I thought my time was dried blood, but every time I wipe after urination.
* I have almost no appetite.
* My vision was blurred in recent days.
* The fire started about 2 weeks after fatigue.
What do you think?
Thank you in advance.
PS-mentioned symptoms started before learning of the disease ... Psychosomatic diagnosis less likely:)

Yes, you should probably test!
Lupus is an autoimmune disorder that is caused by genetic and environmental factors, so if you have a family history of autoimmune disease (eg Crohn's disease, scleroderma, rheumatoid arthritis, etc ...) are elevated in danger, even if you are a woman and 15 to 45 years.
It takes time for the diagnosis of lupus, but your doctor (probably) a reference to a doctor of internal medicine or May for the test itself (blood! Urine test!) And depending on what the doctor says, include a blood test (anti-nuclear antibodies, ANA) test (very important test, if it is positive, it could mean lupus or other autoimmune diseases!)
Other tests may also blood tests for hepatitis.C, hepatitis D, and the detection of creatinine and albumin test Bilrubin (Google typing too much!) And see ALT test (To check how your liver is epic!)
Well, yes. Get tested, because as I said earlier, it takes some time to diagnose because the symptoms are similar to many other diseases, but it could take months.
Good luck! :)
I am 17 years old and also had symptoms of lupus, the test results come in January (next month!) Hope 4 the best!
